Thai Basil Chicken
I love Thai food and this is the simplest, quickest version of the classic Thai basil dish. Feel free to up the spice level, add vegetables or switch up your protein.

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- Olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 chili pepper sliced
- 10g Thai basil leaves
- 1 spring onion sliced
Instructions
Step 1
Add a generous drizzle of olive oil (1½ tbsp) to a large pan over medium high heat.
Step 2
Add the garlic and chili pepper, stirring frequently for about 1 minute.
Step 3
Add the chicken and oyster sauce. Allow to cook for around 6 minutes, stirring occasionally to make sure all sides are cooked.
Step 4
Add the basil and allow it to wilt.
Step 5
Garnish with spring onions.
