Cauliflower Steak

Ingredients
  • 1 head cauliflower 
  • Salt 

Marinade

  • 1 can of coconut milk 
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 
  • Salt and pepper 

Topping

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard 
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder 
  • Salt and pepper 
  • More parsley to garnish

Instructions
1.
Cut your cauliflower into steaks. To do this, remove the leaves and place the cauliflower stem down. Cut the edges off and then cut in half to make two steaks that lay flat.

Boil a pan of water, and then add the "steaks" for about 5 minutes. Remove and try to remove excess water.

Mix all of the marinade ingredients and then place the "steaks" into the marinade. Marinate for at least 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 180c fan.

Remove the "steaks" from the marinade and then place on a baking sheet and in the oven for about 15 minutes.
6.
Then turn the oven to broil on high. Broil the steaks until golden, about 7 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix the topping ingredients. Serve the steaks with the topping sauce and extra parsley.
