Preparing for your Next Prescription

What We Will Cover

  • What to expect after your first dose
  • What to do before receiving your second dose
  • Dose changes and reporting experiences

What to expect after taking your first dose

After starting your first dose, you will be focusing on building consistency with your routine and becoming familiar with how your body responds. This may include noticing changes in appetite, energy levels or eating patterns.

Some people notice changes quickly, while for others it may take more time. Tracking how you feel and noting down any changes you notice should be shared with your clinician. If applicable, messaging groups with general updates can be another way to reach support from fellow members on the programme. You can also use our medication reminders to ensure that you are on track.

What to do before receiving your next dose

Before your next prescription is prepared, there are a few important steps to complete. 1:1 clinician reviews take place every 4 weeks to ensure your plan remains safe and aligned with your progress.

Around 3 days before your 1:1 appointment, you will receive a pre appointment survey through the app. This will include a set of seven questions about your progress, habits, and experience.

It is important to complete this ahead of your appointment as your responses help us understand how you have been managing over the previous few weeks and allows for the best possible support during your consultation. You will also receive an appointment invite via the app, where you can confirm and prepare for your upcoming review.

Dose changes and reporting side effects

These appointments are necessary for continuing treatment, as your clinician will monitor how you are responding to the medication. After you review, they will determine whether it is appropriate to make any adjustments. Your dose may change over time depending on how your body responds and how you are progressing.

It is important to be open about your experience. This includes:

  • Changes in appetite or hunger
  • Side effects
  • Challenges with routines or habits

Sharing this information allows your clinician to safely monitor your dose and supports informed decisions about progress.

Summary

Pre-appointment surveys and regular clinical review make a big difference. They ensure it is safe to continue your treatment plan and allow our clinical team to best support you.

Completing your pre appointment survey and attending regular clinician reviews are important for monitoring your progress, ensuring it is safe to continue or adjust your medication. Staying engaged and sharing your experience allows us to provide the best possible support throughout your  journey.
