Naturally sweet, caffeine-free rooibos tea infused with fresh mint, strawberries, orange and apple, then topped with sparkling water for a refreshing summer drink. It has no added sugar, so it's a great alternative to shop-bought iced teas and fizzy drinks, and a tasty way for the whole family to stay hydrated.
You'll need a kettle and a large jug.
1.
Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for 5 minutes, then remove them. Leave the tea to cool, then chill in the fridge (about 1 hour).
2.
Put the mint, strawberries, orange and apple in a large jug. Gently press the mint with a spoon to release its flavour.
3.
Pour in the chilled tea and stir.
4.
Just before serving, add the ice and top up with the sparkling water, if using.

Storage information
Keep the tea and fruit covered in a jug in the fridge for up to 24 hours. The fruit softens over time. Add the sparkling water and ice just before serving.
Tip
Flavour twists: Try peach slices, raspberries or a few slices of cucumber. Still version: Leave out the sparkling water and top up with chilled water instead.
