A quick and easy classic Italian recipe, with fresh and vibrant flavours.

Ingredients
  • 4 Hake Fillets (400 gr)
  • 250 gr Baby Plum Tomatoes
  • Garlic
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • 50 g Pasta per person

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pan.

Wash and cut in half the tomatoes. Add them in the pan with the oil along with the garlic cloves, the basil, the oregano, salt, pepper, and a splash of balsamic vinegar.

Mix well and place on top the hake fillets. Cover the pan.

Let it cook for about 20 min stirring from time to time and smashing the tomatoes.

Fill a large pot with water. Bring it to a boil point, add salt and the pasta. Let it cook for the cooking time advised on the package.

Drain the pasta and add it to the fish sauce.

Serve it in the middle of the table on a large plate for a scenic effect. Enjoy it!

Tip

Serve alongside salad or greens to balance the meal and increase the fibre content. This is a great recipe to make extra and enjoy the next day. Low-Carb Option: Swap the pasta for spiralised courgette or low-carb pastas such as lentil or bean.
