A delicious pasta with all the flavours of a cheeseburger! There are so many ways to alter this recipe to suit your diet pathway.

Heat a large deep pan with oil over medium high heat.

Add the onion and cook for a few minutes, stirring often.

Add the garlic and cook for another minute or so.

Add in the beef, peppers and seasonings. Break up the beef with a wooden spoon and stir.

Cook until browned all over.

Add in the pasta and zucchini and stir to mix.

Then add in tomato, stock and milk. Stir to combine. If the liquid is not enough to cover the pasta, add some more stock or milk.

Cook for the recommended time for the pasta.

Add in the cheese and mix until the cheese dissolves into the sauce.

Continue cooking for another couple of minutes.

Tip
For low carb, use a lower carb pasta or replace with quinoa. For low fat, you could swap the beef for chicken or turkey mince, use low fat milk, and reduce the cheese and use low fat.
