Onboarding
What to Expect in Onboarding

Welcome to Roczen; we’re looking forward to supporting you on the programme. In this article, we’ll discuss what to expect in the onboarding appointment and how to prepare for it.

The onboarding appointment is ultimately an opportunity to ensure that the programme is the right fit for you and that we can fully support your goals. To make the process as smooth and effective as possible, there are a few steps to complete beforehand.

Health Questionnaires:

Before your onboarding appointment, you’ll receive 4 health questionnaires in the clinician channel of your app. These are an important part of the process and help us get a better understanding of your current eating habits, mood, mental health and quality of life.

Completing these in advance ensures your onboarding appointment is tailored to you, allowing us to focus on the areas that matter most.

Measurements We Need

To personalise your plan effectively and to monitor how effective your personalised plan is, it’s helpful that we also have the following up-to-date information:

  • Waist circumference: This helps us assess your overall health and monitor your progress.
  • Blood pressure reading: An important measure to ensure the plan is safe and appropriate for you.
  • Current weight: To help us track your journey and set realistic, achievable goals.
  • HbA1c: This is a measure of your average blood glucose levels, something that often improves when on the Roczen programme. If you haven’t had this checked, don’t worry, as we will send out a home testing kit after your onboarding appointment.

Please ensure these measurements are added to your app before your appointment.

The Onboarding Appointment

Your onboarding appointment is a chance for us to get to know you better and understand what you want to achieve. Here’s what to expect:

  • The appointment will take place over a video call in a safe and relaxed setting. We recommend choosing a private space where you feel comfortable discussing personal information.
  • We’ll talk about your medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and dietary habits. Some questions might feel less relevant, but rest assured, they are all part of building a picture to personalise your programme. Everything is discussed in a completely nonjudgmental and confidential way.
  • You’ll share your goals and what you hope to achieve on the programme. This will help us create a plan that works for you and your lifestyle.

What Happens After Onboarding?

If you’re happy to move forward, we’ll personalise your plan and get you started on the programme. The plan itself will be provided after the appointment via the Roczen app.

Once again, welcome to Roczen. We’re looking forward to supporting you in achieving your goals and making lasting changes.
